Summer is right around the corner! We’re now accepting students for our summer dance classes and camps.
Boys & girls ages 3-7 will learn the basics in ballet, tap, jazz, and groovement in a fun, supportive environment for our Prince & Princess & Mini Dance Camps.
Our Summer Fun Dance Camp is especially for children 9-12 and offers a wide range of dance disciplines giving beginning through intermediate level dancers the chance to experience each

Congratulations to former Southern Dance Theatre student & Dancer’s Edge Company member, Maddie Ricker, who has had a great year as one of four freshman on the USC Company! She has been accepted to Perry Mansfield Professional summer program and will be attending in Colorado over the summer!

Southern Dance Theatre student Lauren Rowland auditioned for the Rockettes Summer Intensive January 10th in Orlando and was accepted into the program! She will be attending in New York City and will be performing with the Rockettes in July!

Intermediate through Advanced Level Students ages 10-18 are welcome to audition for our 2016 Summer Intensive Program.
Audition: Sunday, April 3rd 1pm-4pm at Southern Dance Theatre.
Students interested in signing up for summer intensive auditions, can do so at the office starting March 1, 2016. You will be given an application at that time to return with you at the audition on April 3rd.
Audition attire: Females-Black leotard/ pink tights/ pink ballet shoes; Males-White t-shirt/ black tights/ black ballet shoes.
This program is designed and recommended for:
- Students auditioning for or attending BAK or Dreyfoos Schools of the Arts Dance Programs. Preparation is crucial for placement in higher levels within these dance programs.
- Students auditioning for the Dancer’s Edge Company.
- Serious students wanting to concentrate on technique to gain more progress at a time of year when you are not in school and committed to many other things.
This progressive curriculum includes: ballet, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, contemporary, leaps and turns, choreography, and much more!
The Intensive Program will be held:
Monday-Friday July 5th* – July-29th
9am-3pm / Ages: 10-18
Early arrival care 8:30-9:00am / After care available from 3:00-5:00pm
*A Make Up day is scheduled for July 9th covering classes not held on July 4th
