Our belief is that well thought out preparation is crucial in achieving these goals.

Message from Penni A. Greenly

Today, September 10,2013 marks Southern Dance Theatre’s 30th Anniversary of being in business as a school dedicated to the education and artistry of dance. In 30 years our staff has been blessed with thousands of dance families, including 2nd and 3rd generation students. Albert Einstein said “Seek not to be a person of success but one of value”. The office staff and teachers at Southern Dance Theatre have held true to this philosophical mindset and the success of our school has been the result. Their commitment to the art of dance and the students and families of Southern Dance Theatre has been extra ordinary.

As the custodian and owner of the school for 30 years I humbly celebrate God’s gift of selecting me to lead and take part in what has been the adventure of a lifetime, both euphoric and frightening. His strategic plan to place each and every mentor, teacher, administrative person, student, parent, and community supporter in my path has been nothing short of many miracles. The saying goes “blessed to be a blessing”. I have been so blessed and I hope that I and the staff at Southern Dance Theatre have returned the blessings to everyone we have served through out the years and in the future. “Life is a dance. Thanks for not sitting it out and sharing it with us.”
