Recital Reminders

As we quickly approach recital, please note the following dates and details below. Looking forward to a fantastic show!
June 3rd
  • Last day of classes.
  • Last day to purchase pre-sold Dress Rehearsal tickets at SDT.
June 4th & 5th
  • Recital Photo Event at the studio. This applies to students who booked their appointments in advance.
Please note all the below dates and times.  
These are all mandatory rehearsals and shows.
 
Evening Show Recital
Level 1 Child through Teen/Adult Classes 
June 4th – Blocking Rehearsal 5:00- 9:00 p.m.
  • Student sign in at 4:30 p.m. Students must be signed out by a parent/guardian.
  • Location: Countess De Hoernle Theatre at Spanish River High School, 5100 Jog Road, Boca Raton.
  • Students please wear regular dance class attire with all the dance shoes needed.
  • Parents are not permitted to watch this rehearsal.
  • Dancers bring water and snacks.
  • Dancers will receive their end of the year pins and awards if they received one.
June 6th & 7th – Evening Dressing Rehearsal & Evening Show 
Arrive at 6:15 p.m. both days.
  • Location: Countess De Hoernle Theatre at Spanish River High School, 5100 Jog Road, Boca Raton.
  • Students must arrive on time, in their first costume with hair and stage make up done.
  • Parents must sign their dancers in and out at each performance.
  • Tickets sold in the lobby at 6:15 p.m. Theater doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 7:00 p.m.
Matinee Show Recital
Pre-Combo, Ballet & Jazz/Tap Basic, Dance Movement, 
EBP and Dancer’s Edge Co. 
 
June 8th & 9th – Matinee Dressing Rehearsal & Matinee Show 
Arrive at 1:15 p.m. both days.
  • Location: Countess De Hoernle Theatre at Spanish River High School, 5100 Jog Road, Boca Raton.
  • Students must arrive on time, in their first costume with hair and stage make up done.
  • Parents must sign their dancers in and out at each performance.
  • Tickets sold in the lobby at 1:15 p.m. Theater doors open at 1:30 p.m. Show starts at 2:00 p.m.

Flowers for your Dancer

Celebrate and congratulate your dancer with beautiful roses.  Roses will be available for purchase in the theater lobby before each show begins, during intermissions and at the end of the show.

Last-minute Recital Tickets

Tickets will be available for purchase in the theater lobby 45 minutes before each dress rehearsal and show. 
CASH ONLY PLEASE!  There is no ATM on site, please plan ahead.
Dress Rehearsal Tickets (open seating) – $16.00 each
Evening Show Tickets – $30 each
Matinee Show Tickets – $30 each

Food Concession

Food and drink items will be available for purchase before, during intermissions and at the end of each dress rehearsal and show. There will be a limited food concession cart that will go back stage and to the cafeteria to allow dancers to purchase food and drinks.

  • $1.00 – Chips or Rice Krispies Treats
  • $2.00 – Soda, Water, Cookies or Candy
  • $3.00 – Hot Dog
  • $5.00 – Combo Meal – includes a drink, chips and a hot dog
    CASH ONLY PLEASE!

 Note: If you do not wish for your dancer to purchase from our food concession cart please send them with clear liquids and dry snacks. They will not be allowed to bring any foods or drinks that make a mess and can stain their costumes. This rule is in the best interest of the dancers and their costumes. 

VERY IMPORTANT: Due to allergies, please be respectful and remind your dancers that they are NOT allowed to share food and drinks with any other dancers. This is for the health safety of our students.
