Returning Students:
Early registration for returning students begins July 17th in our office, during the following times:
• Monday/ Wednesday: 12-6:30 pm
• Tuesday/ Thursday: 12-7:30 pm
• Friday: 12-5:00 pm
New Students:
Open Registration for the general public will begin Wednesday, July 24th in our front office during the following times:
• Monday/ Wednesday: 12-6:30 pm
• Tuesday/ Thursday: 12-7:30 pm
• Friday: 12-5:00 pm
As we wrap up the school year, our hours will change starting June 3rd through the summer!

Summer is an awesome time to dance! As our lives slow down, with school out, we tend to have a lighter schedule and can spend more time doing what we love. If you love to dance as much as we do, or are just getting started, we hope you’ll join us for a summer filled with joy!

Super Hero Dance Camp: Ages 3-5
Experience fun adventures in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Groovement

Rising Stars Dance Camp: Ages 6-8
This program includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop

Summer Fun! Dance Camp: Ages: 9-12
Beginning and Intermediate Dancers | Dancers will experience Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater, and Hip Hop. The experience is very good for those interested in auditioning for the Dancer’s Edge Company.

Dancer’s Tune Up – 1 Week Intensive
Ballet with pointe, contemporary, and modern. Enjoy class with special guest teachers.

What is Creative Dance?
This is a form of dance that uses rhythmic, patterned, or improvised body movement, and it’s one of the oldest art forms found in every culture around the world.
Dance is often accompanied by music, but it’s also a form of nonverbal communication and self expression because when people feel free to move their bodies without judgment, you often get a glimpse of their innermost thoughts and feelings.
Dance and creative dance can benefit people of all ages.

• Learn to respect differences between people and cultures
• Learn spontaneity, leadership, and self-control

Creative Dance is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy, stimulate imagination, and promote creativity. It uses body actions to communicate an image (the wind), an idea (a journey), a feeling (strength).
Dates: February 6th – May 1st (no class March 20th during Spring Break)
Time: Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 pm
Cost for the session is $225.00 with no registration fee. Boys will receive a 50% Discount!
The last day of each session will be a parent demonstration class. This will allow parents to see what the children have learned throughout their journey of dance. This class does not participate in recital.

Southern Dance Theatre is proud to offer the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development, to our ballet students. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Our ballet director, Julie Bravata, is a former dancer with American Ballet Theatre and ABT® Certified Teacher who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 and partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Artistically, the National Training Curriculum strives to provide dance students with a rich knowledge of classical ballet technique and the ability to adapt to all styles and techniques of dance.
