Congratulations to Zack Gottsagen for making history at the Oscars tonight!
by Alexandra Del Rosario The Peanut Butter Falcon star Zack Gottsagen made history as the Academy Awards’ first presenter with Down syndrome at the 2020 Oscars on Sunday. The actor, who received a standing ovation upon hitting the Dolby Theater stage, announced the nominees and winner of the live-action short film category alongside co-star Shia LaBeouf.
Mark your calendars for Demonstration Classes
Southern Dance Theatre dancers’ parents are invited to observe demonstration classes during class time. Demonstration classes will be held Monday, December 9th through Saturday, December 21st.

Early registration price of $20 has been extended through 10/10.
Registration will increase to $25 the day of the walk.
Southern Dance Theatre‘s Zack Gottsagen, lead in the upcoming movie “The Peanut Butter Falcon“, will be on Good Morning America at 8:30am and The Today Show at 10:30am tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7th.
Zack will also be featured in a story in People magazine which will hit the racks as well tomorrow.
