We have heard from the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization that they have used the funding raised by The Dancer’s Alchemy during the 2015 Buddy Walk to provide free art classes for local adults this summer. The class has been so popular that they will continue to offer it during the fall and beyond! The participants have really enjoyed the class.
Thank you to all of the Southern Dance Theatre and Dancer’s Edge Company families and students who participated to make this event and the class for these students such a success.

Southern Dance Theatre and
the Dancer’s Edge Company will present workshops for girls with ivivva that promote being your genuine and authentic self.
ivivva is the sister company of lululemon athletica and offers dancewear on the cutting edge. We hope to host a trunk show at our studio during the summer and fall to showcase their amazing clothing line.
Dancers will also go on site to pose as live mannequins in their new showroom windows at the Town Center Mall. So much fun!

Congratulations to former Southern Dance Theatre student & Dancer’s Edge Company member, Maddie Ricker, who has had a great year as one of four freshman on the USC Company! She has been accepted to Perry Mansfield Professional summer program and will be attending in Colorado over the summer!
