Michelle Zupo
Office Manager; Instructor – Pre-Combo

Michelle Zupo, born and raised in Boynton Beach, Florida, was introduced to dance at age 6, and has been dancing ever since.

Michelle became a student at Southern Dance Theatre in 2002. She knew dance was her passion and joined Atlantic Community High School’s Eagle-Ettes & Company under Director Gina DiCillo Gelfand and Assistant Directors Lori Morales and Kristen Deiser Rullison.

Michelle enjoyed dancing with Florida Atlantic University’s Dance Department and had the privilege of working with talented instructors. She joined the Ballroom of FAU Club and trained in many styles of both traditional and nontraditional ballroom dancing.

Michelle turned her passion into a career. She’s performed professionally with Melanie Moore Productions in shows such as a Corporate Party City Event in 2009. She taught dance classes for students ages 2-18 at Center for Dance and the Performing Arts in the Orlando area in 2011, under Director Dr. Kathryn Austin. Michelle joined The Sky Dance Productions Company in Deerfield Beach in June 2012 and has performed at the Hard Rock and the Gulf Stream Park and Casino. She also danced in a National Auto Nation commercial in 2013. Michelle continues to perform professionally in the South Florida region with companies like ALB Events and Productions and Angeliki Productions.

Michelle loves working with children and has been a Registered Behavior Technician with Positive Behavior Support Corp. working with special needs children since 2010.

Michelle has been an instructor at Southern Dance Theatre since 2013 and the Office Manager since June 2017. She loves teaching our Pre Combo students and being a part of wonderful dance family.
