The Impact of Early Childhood Movement

We have seen first hand the importance of movement education for our youngest students for many years.

Linking Literacy and Movement, by Rae Pica, Movement Specialist, explains…

“the cognitive benefits of movement and how young children need to physically experience concepts in order to truly grasp them…Research shows that movement is the young child’s preferred mode of learning – and that children learn best through active involvement.”

It is an excellent read for anyone who wishes to learn more about the fascinating study of how movement impacts early childhood learning.
