Summer Registration Begins March 9th!

We’re pleased to announce the details of our Summer Session in preparation for registration which begins on March 9th, 2017.

We’re offering a ton of great classes!  Camps for students ages 3-12 are always a big hit and we look forward to having a lot of fun and teaching our students new skills.

We have a great, robust summer intensive program, by audition only, for intermediate and advanced students 10-18.  The audition will be held at Southern Dance Theatre April 9th from 1:00-3:00pm.

We’ll also have a couple of brand new classes

Dancer’s Tune Up” is designed for students who will be attending summer programs out of town, to aid in preparation for good placement in ballet and contemporary.  We have one or two week options!

We’re also offering an open teen adult Pound class this summer, along with our intermediate level ballet, contemporary, jazz, and tap classes!

Mr. Steven Caras to be Featured at FAU’s Lifelong Learning Society

Steven Caras FAU Event Photos

Our friend, Steven Caras, will be a featured lecturer at Florida Atlantic University- Lifelong Learning Society (Jupiter) in “Staying Power: A Balanchine Dancer’s Story of Survival” this January. Filmmakers Witek & Novak featured Mr. Caras in an hour-long Emmy-winner documentary, “Steven Caras: See Them Dance” which gave the Public Television audiences nationwide a poignant glimpse of his Renaissance man career from his early days as a dancer and later privileged photographer with the New York City Ballet. This presentation picks up where the film left off, as Mr. Caras shares professional and personal milestones and setbacks via compelling, uncensored tales as a dancer during the true golden era of dance in America under the leadership of George Balanchine.

This event will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:15am.  Call 561-799-8547 for more information and download the event flyer here.
