Thank you for your Viva Las Vegas Contributions

On behalf of The Dancer’s Alchemy:

The Dancer’s Alchemy would like to thank everyone that attended the first annual Viva Las Vegas Casino Night at Southern Dance Theatre. We had a full house that had an evening of great fun, casino-style gaming, good food, and spirits. The evening ended with an awesome silent auction and exciting raffle prizes.

We are very grateful to all of our sponsors for their support and generosity, The Dancers Edge Company Parents, and our “A” Company Dancers for all of their help.

We had a fabulous committee and team whose dedication and commitment made our first Casino Night very successful:

  • Co. Chair: Roger Dunson
  • Marketing: Brittany Patterson
  • Photography: Seth Steinberg
  • Casino music: Ms. Wesa
  • Volunteers: Laura Comas, Dianna Vacco, Cheryl Cimilluca, Michelle Zupo, Ms. Wesa, Alexa Leddy, and Danielle Kiminyo
  • Committee Parent board: Kim Chodor, Jessica Jensen, Renee Leddy, Carole Mastrosimone, Sandra Reategui, Mona Sharma, Stephanie Smith, and Elizabeth Steinberg
  • A TEAM OF UNSTOPPABLE FEMALE SUPER HEROES! I am forever grateful to you and hubbies Alex Chodor, Michael Mastrosimone, Ted Rohrbaugh, and Mike Leddy.

IF YOU MISSED OUT ON ALL THE FUN AND WINNING THIS YEAR! THERE’S ALWAYS VIVA LAS VEGAS 2019.

Thank you, thank you.

So Proud of Our Students’ Achievements!

We’re so happy to continue to hear about our students’ achievements. They work so hard and deserve recognition for all of their accomplishments!

Several girls at SDT that are members of the Bak chapter of National Jr Honor Society for Dance Arts. Membership is based upon Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship.

In addition, this year Lara Symons was the Bak chapter President, Nyla George was Vice President, and Libby Jo Heller was Historian.

Allyson Steinberg, Lara Symons, and Nyla George joined 4 other Bak students to perform at the Florida Dance Education Organization’s Honors Concert, held in St Petersburg, Florida in February.

Lara was selected as state-wide 1st place middle school winner for her essay and original choreography. As a result, she was given the opportunity to present her self-choreographed solo at the concert.

Along similar lines, Nyla George was just awarded a 75 percent dance scholarship to attend American Heritage School of Boca/Delray and Lara Symons a 50 percent academic scholarship to the same.

Congratulations to each of these young ladies for their dedication, talent, leadership, and drive. So proud of them!
