Top local dance schools and companies unite together to raise awareness of eating disorders this February during National Eating Disorder Awareness Month. Proceeds support the Renfrew Center Foundation: First In Eating Disorders.

An enchanted evening lies ahead Thursday, January 14, 2014 at Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach for the weekly Art After Dark event. The Dancer’s Edge Company take the stage from 7:30 – 8:30pm.
Entry Fee: 1/2 off museum admission / Free to museum members and children under 12!
The evening’s line up features:
- SuperCar Artcars of Supercar Week 2014; Curator’s Conversation and tour of the recent Acquisitions of Photography
- 5-9 p.m. / On View – Supercar Artcars, by Laurence Gartel (Palm Beach County 2014 Supercar Week)
- 5-9 p.m. / Music – Musical performance by award winning jazz duo Davis and Dow / Atrium
- 5-7:30 p.m / Marden Gallery Opening – Palm Beach Day Academy: Start to Finish
- 5:30 p.m./ Tour – New Work / New Directions: Recent Acquisitions of Photography
- 6:30 p.m. / Curator’s Conversation – The Polaroid Years led by William and Sarah Ross Soter Curator of Photography Tim Wride
- 7:30-8:30 p.m / Dance – Dancer’s Edge Company / Theatre
Once again The Special Arts Ensemble has been invited to perform for the opening ceremonies of The 2013 Gold Coast Down Syndrome fundraiser, “Buddy Walk”
October 20th at John Prince Park, Lake Worth. By participating in the Buddy Walk, you can help make a difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome. They will be thrilling audiences with “Ease On Down The Road”.
Showtime: 8:45 a.m.

The Dancer’s Edge Company travelled to and performed at Universal Studios earlier this year. Here, Ms. Jean Louisa Steele, is interviewed on the benefits of Dance-Based Travel. For a one hour rockin, LOUD, show July 19th at 4:30pm! If you’ve seen any of this group’s shows in the past, you know how energizing and fun they are! They were kind enough to perform for “A Night of Hope” to benefit Sandy Hegeman and Hailey Kennedy and put on an amazing performance earlier this year!
You may recognize the familiar faces of SDT hip hop teachers Mr. Kenneth Fowler and Mr. Greg DJ Skinny Gilman.
All dancers in Summer Intensive A, B, and C, and Summer Fun Dance Camp students get free admission!
Space is limited, so dancers must RSVP by Wednesday, July 17th to reserve space. Family and Friends who would like to attend can join the party for $8 admission if space allows.
