Sandy Hegeman was diagnosed with AML Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare Leukemia in March. She is a sweet, talented, beautiful, strong willed girl -who just turned 13 one week after her diagnosis. Sandy lives in Delray Beach with her family. She attends BAK Middle School of the Arts, and is a former Banyan Creek “Bear”. She also dances at Southern Dance Theatre.
Intermediate and Advanced dancers are invited to audition for enrollment in this progressive program which runs July 2nd-27th.

Information on our Summer Intensive Program:
By Audition Only | Intermediate and Advanced Dancers | Ages 10-18
This progressive curriculum includes: ballet, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, contemporary, leaps and turns, choreography, and much more! Class size is limited to ensure individualized attention.
This program is designed and is recommended for:
•Students auditioning for or attending BAK or Dreyfoos Schools of the Arts Dance Programs-Preparation is crucial for placement in higher levels within these dance programs.
•Students auditioning for the Dancer’s Edge Company.
•Serious students wishing to concentrate on technique at a time when schedules are not so demanding.

As of today 4/6, Southern Dance Theatre will be suspending the Alumni class until our summer session. We hope everyone enjoyed this run and thank everyone who has participated!
For anyone wishing to take a beginner/ intermediate class from now through May 31st, you can do so Thursdays from 7:30-8:30pm in Ballet with Ms. Christine at the same Alumni price or use your punch card.
In addition, we will have 2 open adult classes during the month of July that you are invited to attend. Ballet Intermediate Tuesdays 6-7:30pm and Jazz Intermediate Thursdays 6-7:30pm. Join us!
