It’s mid-July and you know what that means-our fall dance classes are right around the corner! This is our 30th Anniversary and we hope to see lots of students from the past and also meet many new faces!
With back to school quickly approaching, we invite students who danced with us last year (2012-2013) to register now. Those students should have received their class placements in the mail late last week or early this week and can register now!
For those new to Southern Dance Theatre or who were not with us last year, you may register as early as Saturday, July 27th-Sunday, July 28th at Open Registration which will be held from 3-7pm at Southern Dance Theatre. Our students have really enjoyed their summer classes so far. We’ve seen true talent emerging in these young lives and we welcome parents and family members to join us for a demonstration class. Check out the demo-class schedule below.

Former Southern Dance Theatre Student and Dancer’s Edge Company Member, Ms. Mileyka Mateo, is featured in BIG NOISE by Karla Garcia! We are pleased that Ms. Mateo will teach during our Summer Intensive Program which begins July 1st at Southern Dance Theatre.
Join us this summer for an enriching dance experience! We are now accepting students ages 3 through adult into our summer dance camps and classes.
We have openings in our Prince & Princess Monday/Wednesday Camp, Mini Dance Camp Tuesday/Thursday, Summer Fun Dance Camp, and our Open Teen/Adult Ballet and Jazz Classes. Open Teen/Adult classes are perfect for alumni or those in town over the summer. For those looking to get fit or supplement their dance training, check out Zumba and Pilates classes at Southern Dance Theatre.
